The Workplace Alliance team views community engagement as a core part of our business.
Our commitment goes beyond employment—it’s about creating real, lasting value in the communities where we live and work.
As a regional mechanical engineering company and industrial employer, we support initiatives that deliver impact across:
- Local community support
- Indigenous partnerships
- STEM education and youth opportunity
- Workforce diversity and return-to-work programs
We actively recruit local talent, including apprentices, and source materials from local suppliers to strengthen regional economies and keep our impact close to home in Geelong.
We’re committed to giving back through hands-on mentoring and community support — helping local people thrive beyond the workplace.
Workplace Alliance Initiatives
Indigenous Partnerships
We’re proud to partner with SEEKER.Global, led by AFL legend Matt Stokes, to create employment pathways for Indigenous youth. We also work closely with the Wathaurong Community to support training, mentoring, and sustainable local outcomes through culturally safe initiatives.
Sport & Social Impact
Workplace Alliance proudly sponsors Women’s AFL teams, helping grow participation and recognition of women in sport. We’re also the major sponsor of Embrace Awareness, a local charity raising awareness of domestic violence and its impact on children, furthering our investment in community wellbeing.
Empowering Youth Through STEM
We advocate for careers in STEM and actively support education initiatives across schools and community organisations. Through traineeships with the G Force Group, we help young people access meaningful employment, particularly in fields such as maintenance in the pharmaceutical industry, construction, and engineering.
Supporting Workforce Diversity
Our partnership with IPAR enables injured workers to retrain and re-enter the workforce with confidence. We pride ourselves on offering opportunities for people of all backgrounds and abilities, with a focus on inclusive, practical training and support.
Circular Economy & Local Collaboration
As a member of the GROW network, we prioritise local procurement, collaboration, and shared outcomes. We believe in the circular economy—building resilience through local business, community investment, and industrial employer community initiatives that drive real, measurable change.
