SAFETY-RENOVATION PROJECT – WESTERN VICTORIA, AUSTRALIA

The team at Workplace Alliance (Facilities Maintenance Division) have just completed their latest project.

Our Facilities Maintenance Team led by Craig Kerr Nelson, and assisted by Daniel Aitken, undertook a Safety/Renovation Project at one of our client sites.

Situated in Western Victoria, the team was requested to review the incumbent cracked and aged glass sheeting on the saw tooth roof.

As part of the project, an energy audit was undertaken which revealed, not only were the old glass panes potentially dangerous, they were also leeching heat into the atmosphere adding to energy loss.

The project took a number of days to complete, observing all safety requirements from “drop zones” to “environmental recycling principles”.

All aspects were covered by SWMS (safe work method statement) which was regularly updated to cover the changing conditions.

We would like to congratulate Craig, Daniel and the rest of the team for their safety and quality outcome.
